Case Study: LM-JV (HS2 Enabling Works North)

The challenge

Working on behalf of HS2, Laing O’Rourke and Murphy (LM-JV) were responsible for a major Enabling Works North programme. Spanning more than 140 projects and involving 75+ users, the alliance had to coordinate monthly reporting across multiple work packages — with data drawn manually from HS2 systems and the partners’ own platforms.

It was complex, time-consuming and difficult to produce a clear, consistent view of progress and performance.

The solution

• Overall programme and sector-level summaries

• Combined commercial and delivery package views, with 62 work packages and 104 grouped assets all housed in one platform
